Sister Elaine entered the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of the Church in 1980. She received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Master's in Math Education from Eastern Connecticut State University. She holds a Master's in Catholic Educational Leadership from University of Dayton and Post Master's in Moral Theology from Holy Apostles.  Catholic education is her passion. She has served as a principal of four Catholic elementary schools for 28 years (including two years previously at Saint Joseph School) and taught 16 years in Catholic Elementary schools in the Diocese of Norwich.
